ELISA - Discography [3 albums + 8 singles] (2007-2010) FLAC
ELISA - Japanese pop singer and model. Born April 14, 1989 in Kanagawa Prefecture (Japan). In the 3 years started playing the piano, and in first grade elementary school took up choral singing. In the final year of elementary school participated in a national competition of choral music (singing?). In the first grade of high school took up opera singing.
In 2007, the ELISA was selected Elite Model Look of the 3000 candidates and became a professional model. She signed a contract with Geneon Universal Entertainment Japan in the same year and made its debut in December with a single "euphoric field, which was used as the opening theme to the anime ef - a tale of memories and produced by Tenmon'om. The single climbed to 22 positions in the weekly Oricon charts and sold 24,572 copies in quantity, having made its debut on the music scene successful. In January 2009, ELISA has released its debut album, white pulsation

"...Over years I've tended towards more directness in my expression. The many and subtle ways that everyone lies to themselves, the countless traps that our own fragile egos set for us, and the obvious and hidden fears each of us wrestle with in daily life provide plenty of material. The trick, I think, is to look it square in the face - or at least try. I've lived this latest record for almost two years. I've done my best to say what I think and feel without excessive embellishment.
My success in this regard is not really something I can measure. I can only see from my perspective, try as I might to imagine others.
As for the music itself, I try to convey the feeling of my experience in sound as best I can.
I realize I am out of step with the popular culture, and we as a company have probably always been.
I have no regrets about this, though it often leaves me with an unpleasant feeling of aloneness.
The strangely contradictory upside to this knowledge is knowing so many share the feeling.
